Smart Insurance experienced a rapid business growth. This resulted in excessive numbers of new written policies as expected, claims also were on the rise. We conducted interviews with all stakeholders, obtained user requirements and produced a business specification document. The analysis and the final outcome enabled the company to clarify their business requirements and required changes to their system.

This underwriting management company achieved exponential growth and thus required a review of its business processes. The review was to enable the company to maintain its efficiency of service, to standardise the way the processes are done and to ensure that the documented processes can serve as training manuals. We conducted interviews and workshops with both staff and management. We mapped and documented the business processes. Future business growth will require amendment of the current documentation which serves as a premise to work from.

Business requirements modelling and documentation for MebOnline's first call centre environment for the Funds@Work product. The specification documents for processes enabled MebOnline to customise the software provided by the vendor CCH to suit their need. The final customised version of the software was rolled out to other employee benefits business units of Momentum.

MebOnline needed to improve the service offered to policyholders when they request investment changes. We specified, monitored development, tested and implemented these business process changes. A web interface was created and this enabled policyholders to log on, make investment changes via the web directly to their investment portfolio in the administration system. This reduced administration and investment queries.
